Public Information Booths

  • Fire safety and carbon monoxide detection – A fire safety specialist will share advice and answer questions to keep your home safe from fire and carbon monoxide dangers.

  • Hennepin County– The county will provide information and engaging activities related to recycling and organic waste to work toward sustaining a healthy environment.

  • Master Gardeners – The University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners offer information on the best plants and practices for Minnesota lawns and gardens to make our communities more sustainable, beautiful, knowledgeable and fun.

  • Metropolitan Council– Learn about the Southwest Light Rail Transit Green Line Extension project that will connect the west metro suburbs to Minneapolis, St. Paul and Bloomington.

  • Radon, lead and indoor air pollution – Environmental health specialists will answer questions about radon and mitigation, lead hazards, mold and other common indoor air pollutants. We’ll have limited quantities of radon detection test kits available.
